Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 16, 2026

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

  • For Customers: Name, email address, phone number, service address, and photos of items to be removed.
  • For Haulers: Name, email address, phone number, business name, service area, insurance documents, and professional credentials.
  • Platform Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the platform, including pages viewed, actions taken, and device/browser information.
  • Payment Data: When a Customer pays the booking deposit, payment is processed by a secure third-party payment processor. JunkSnapHaul does not store full credit card or bank account details. We only receive confirmation of payment and the associated transaction reference.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the collected information to:

  • Connect Customers with qualified Haulers in their service area.
  • Produce pricing estimates based on customer-provided photos and details.
  • Communicate job details — including scope, address, scheduled time, and remaining balance due — to the assigned Hauler. JunkSnapHaul does not process, hold, or disburse any payments to Haulers.
  • Verify Hauler credentials, insurance, and compliance with platform requirements.
  • Improve our platform services, pricing algorithms, and estimation tools.
  • Send you notifications about your bookings, job status, or platform updates.

3. SHARING OF INFORMATION

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • Between Customers and Haulers: When a job is accepted, we share the Customer's name, address, phone number, and job details with the assigned Hauler so they can perform the service and collect the remaining balance directly. We share the Hauler's name and contact information with the Customer so they know who to expect.
  • Third-Party Payment Processors: When a Customer pays the non-refundable booking deposit, their payment information is processed directly by a secure third-party payment processor — not by JunkSnapHaul. JunkSnapHaul does not handle, process, or store payment card data. JunkSnapHaul is not involved in any direct payment between a Customer and a Hauler.
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. PAYMENT PRIVACY

JunkSnapHaul collects a non-refundable booking deposit from Customers via a secure third-party payment processor. This deposit is the Company's marketplace fee. The remaining job balance is collected directly by the Hauler from the Customer at the time of pickup. JunkSnapHaul does not process, hold, or have any visibility into the direct payment made between a Customer and a Hauler.

By using the platform, Customers acknowledge that JunkSnapHaul does not process, hold, disburse, or manage payments of any kind on behalf of Haulers. All such transactions are exclusively between the Customer and the Hauler.

5. DATA SECURITY

We use industry-standard security measures, including encrypted communications (HTTPS) and secure cloud infrastructure, to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

6. DATA RETENTION

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, subject to our legal and regulatory retention obligations.

7. COOKIES & TRACKING

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your experience on the platform, remember your preferences, and analyze usage patterns. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences.

8. YOUR RIGHTS

You may access, update, or request deletion of your personal information through your account settings or by contacting our support team. We will respond to all requests within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on the platform or sending you an email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

10. CONTACT US

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how your data is used, please contact us through the platform's support channel.
